So, you want to be a Redcoat?

It’s tough enough just to be admitted to the University, and tough enough to stay in. But Redcoats don’t whine; there’s no whining in the Redcoats. They practice, then play, cheer, and scream for Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs. The next week they beg to do it again.

Many Redcoat parents dreamed of being and then became Redcoats themselves. They told tales of Redcoat glory and read stories of Redcoat dreams to their Bulldog pups. Go ahead, pinch those young Redcoats. They’ll thank you. The Redcoats are a closed society of faithful Bulldogs that outsiders can never understand.

Keep your seats

Much of the band preparation time goes to halftime shows, and here the Redcoats sparkle, performing the musical arrangements of Redcoat alumnus Tom Wallace. The Redcoats are blessed to have one of the finest band arrangers in the business, and Wallace is blessed to chart arrangements for one of the most musically gifted marching bands in the country. It’s a match made in red and black heaven, as is the match between the Redcoats and their beloved Georgia football Bulldogs.
