Georgia football opens up this season on the road in Nashville against Vanderbilt. Now Dawg nation, it’s time for you to do your job.

The 2019 season for Georgia football starts on the road in Nashville against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

This game reminds me so much of the 2017 game vs. Notre Dame and the excitement surrounding it. Granted Georgia’s playing the Irish a couple of weeks later, this road game has so much buzz around it.

I’ve seen all over Twitter about Georgia fans wanting to ‘red out’ Nashville. I think this is an excellent idea. While the Dawgs will be in the white away jerseys, it will be amazing to see Vanderbilt’s stadium look like a red sea.

Crowd noise is such a crucial impact on the road, so if the Dawgs can get the support there, then they can win the noise factor which will make it even harder for Vandy to get things done.

I believe there is a Twitter hashtag about the red out, and I encourage you to join up and reach out to these people.

It sounds like that red sea is coming to Nashville, and a Georgia tsunami is about to hit. With it being Labor Day weekend, it’ll make people come because kids don’t have to go to school on Monday.

If the Dawg fans decide to red out Nashville, I think it’ll show the backing of this team. The fans need to be the 12th man and help support this team each week. That is part of the reason why the 2017 squad was as good as they were.

The fans loved that team, and the 2019 squad needs that same love. I’m not saying that the fanbase doesn’t love this team, but we need to get behind them with everything and know that Kirby Smart and his staff have the best intentions and will do whatever it takes to win games.

Georgia needs to take the 2019 season game by game and not overlook any opponent, including the cupcake games because if they do, it might cost them a chance at the playoff or title game.

Focus is the key, doing more is the motto, and now it’s up to the fans to show up in Vandy and wear red.
