Georgia football’s 2020 class barely sits at No. 5 right now with 17 members. Here is my month class prediction and when I expect some guys to commit to the ‘G.’

It’s time for the monthly 2020 recruiting class update for Georgia football.

In July, Georgia added two commitments as 5-star running back Kendall Milton and 4-star offensive tackle Chad Lindberg. The Dawgs also added 4-star center Sedrick Van Pran on Aug. 17.

According to 247Sports team rankings, the Dawgs currently have the No. 5 overall class and the No. 3 SEC class. Georgia has an average ranking of 93.48 per commit.

Georgia currently has one quarterback, one running back, three wide receivers, no tight ends, five offensive linemen, four defensive linemen, one linebacker, one defensive back and one kicker.

More from Dawn of the Dawg

The Dawgs are done with its offensive line class. However, I still think there is going to be a ton of movement in this group.

I still believe that Jamil Burroughs doesn’t end up with this class. I also think that the Dawgs are opting to take more in the trenches than at the linebacker or defensive back position becuase there is a ton of depth at those positions right now.

Will the Dawgs take another wideout? If there is room I believe it could be an option.

However, the more I hear, I don’t know that the Dawgs end up with the current wideouts they have now. One or two may de-commit, but its only if the Dawgs need to make room.

With that being said here are my offensive and defensive class prediction update for August. You’ll see the changes from July’s prediction and who I think could take those spots.

I give a 1 out of 3 ranking for confidence that uncommitted prosepcts will commit to the Dawgs. Three means that I’m very confident and anything lower is in between confidence or very little at all.

**All the below rankings are according to 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2020 class**

Next. Georgia Football: Top 5 tight ends since 2000. dark

Georgia’s recruiting class should change before the end of September with at least one commitment, but there could be another prospect to pull the trigger. The week to watch will be the Notre Dame weekend and I expect the Dawgs to close on some big time commits that week.
