#10: Demetris Robertson

The first guy on this list is Demetris Robertson, and he’s long overdue for a breakout season.

We saw a glimpse of what he can do last year against Austin Peay when he took off for a 72-yard touchdown run. Then he went quiet. I think he needed a good year to get acquainted with Georgia’s system and used to the southern heat again.

Now he’s been here a year, and it’s time for him to step up in a big way. There is even a bigger target on his back since J.J. Holloman’s dismissal.

While Georgia’s got other wideouts that’ll likely have good seasons, I think D-Rob is the one we’re all waiting to see what he can do. His speed alone makes him exciting; now I’m ready to see him put it all together and be a key contributor on the offense.

With Holloman leaving, he has the perfect opportunity to break out and prove his worth. He will be draft-eligible and needs to do something if he wants to go high.

Robertson comes in at No. 10 on this list because we all remember the fiery kid who no one could touch in high school because of his ability to make plays and blow past them with his speed. Now we want to see that again, and he’s got the perfect opportunity to do it.
