Georgia football will soon kick off the first game of their 2019 season. How will they fare this year and how far could the Dawgs get in the postseason?

Kirby Smart will be leading his Georgia football team into enemy territory as they open the season up in Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

Nobody really expects the Commodores to compete much against the Dawgs in this game, but Georgia can expect quite a few tough opponents this upcoming season.

However, how will the Dawgs fair against the other teams this year? Georgia’s got a great schedule to do great things.

Plus, we all know who they will most likely be clashing against in the SEC Championship game if they win the SEC East once again, which they absolutely should.

This year could be one that no one forgets, Georgia’s finally got the talent, the depth and the tangibles they need to be great. There is a lot of buzz surrounding the team, much like there was in 2017.

The biggest difference is that the Dawgs have a lot of growing to do in the wide receiver position and a couple of other areas.

If Georgia can focus on each opponent without looking forward, then this year could be a lot like 2017 and become one to remember, but first, we must get past Vanderbilt.

Here is my season projection for Georgia football and how I think the Dawgs fare against each opponent this year and whether or not I believe they can get the job done.
