The SEC Championship, The College Football Playoffs, & Bowls

It is impossible to know who the Dawgs might be playing in any bowl game, playoff game, or championship game, but it’s a good bet that they will meet up with the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game.

The Bulldogs will be looking to topple the Tide from their throne finally, and they should have arguably done it the last two times the teams have played.

But the Tide always seem to pull it out in the nick of time and put the Bulldogs down in the final minutes.

If the Bulldogs make it to the playoffs, there will be plenty of other teams in the mix for the last three spots.

Some of these teams are fellow SEC rivals Alabama, LSU, and Auburn, reigning national champs Clemson, PAC 12 teams Washington and Utah, and yearly contenders Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Michigan.

Worst case scenario would be another New Year’s Six Bowl for the Bulldogs, but I really do think that this is our year to win it all.

I think the Bulldogs have an excellent chance of winning the SEC and making the playoffs this season.

It will be tough to do, and the Bulldogs could slip up in a few games this season, most notably against either Auburn or Texas A&M in the regular season, or most likely against Alabama in the SEC Championship game.

It should be one fun season for our Georgia Bulldogs, and hopefully, we see it end with them raising the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy!

*For the sake of predictions, I’ll go on record saying the Bulldogs beat the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game and the College Football Playoff has Clemson (1), Georgia (2), Washington (3), and Alabama (4) as the four competitors. The National Championship game will be Clemson vs. Georgia and Georgia walks away with a narrow 31-28 victory.*
