Week 3: Georgia Bulldogs vs. Arkansas State Red Wolves

Date & Time: Saturday, September 14th, 2019 @ 12:00pm

This game will not be as easy as the previous week, but all things told, the Bulldogs should have this game well in hand soon after half time is over.

The Red Wolves are no joke and can put up points, but Georgia’s defense is too talented and too well-coached not to overcome the offense most of the day.

That’s not to say the Red Wolves won’t score any against the Bulldog starters, as I do expect them to come out extremely fired up to be playing a team like Georgia and in a stadium as beautiful as Sanford Stadium.

However, the most points they get against the starters for UGA is 10.

On the other side of things, expect the Georgia run game to find much success against this defense.

Last year this defense gave up almost 300 yards on the ground to Alabama, so the Dawgs should have no problem pounding the rock against the Red Wolves.

I expect back to back big weeks from freshman George Pickens as well, leading him to claim a starting role just in time for Notre Dame.

The Red Wolves may keep it close for a quarter to a quarter and a half, but the Dawgs will pull away soon after that and have the back-ups getting reps as early as the end of the second quarter.

Georgia wins 51-17
