Week 5: Georgia Bulldogs @ Tennessee Volunteers

Date & Time: Saturday, October 5th, 2019 @ TBD

Coming off of a bye week after the match-up with Notre Dame will leave the Dawgs feeling refreshed and ready to crush Tennessee.

No doubt the Volunters players and fans will talk endless amount of trash leading up to the game this week, while Bulldog players will remain silent, using the Volunteer trash talk as bulletin board material.

The Tennessee offense last year was miserable averaging just under 23 points a game.

Starting quarterback Jarrett Guarantano couldn’t even get over 2,000 passing yards last year and leading rusher Ty Chandler didn’t even reach the 650-yard mark.

Georgia’s defense should have no problem containing this offense and Tennessee will be lucky to crack double digits on the scoreboard and 250 yards of total offense against the Dawgs.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the ball Georgia’s offense has been dominant in year’s past, especially against the Vols.

They’ve had no problem putting up points against the Vols and that shouldn’t change this year as the Dawgs still have a host of runners to throw out there and while the receivers are somewhat newer, they still have speed and talent on their side.

The Bulldogs will come out and crush the Vols spirits by the end of the first quarter and will have a two-touchdown lead at least at the end of the first 15 minutes of gameplay.

The Vols will be held off the board until the fourth quarter when the Dawgs have their third-stringers in the game.

Fromm and the offense will have no trouble walking over the Tennessee defense, and Georgia’s defense will keep the Vols’ offense in check.

Georgia wins 48-10
