Week 6: Georgia Bulldogs vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

Date & Time: Saturday, October 12th, 2019 @ TBD

This game will be a little more difficult for the Bulldogs than their other SEC East tests to this point in the season.

The Gamecocks are going to be better than both the Vols and the Commodores, both defensively and offensively.

Do I think they will be a real challenge for Georgia? No. But, you will likely see the Dawgs’ starters playing into the 4th quarter of the game.

The Gamecocks offense is not a pushover. South Carolina took it to Clemson’s defense at the end of the season last year and returning quarterback Jake Bentley will not be intimidated coming into this game.

While the offense did lose star wideout Deebo Samuel they still have another aerial threat in Bryan Edwards and a reliable ground threat in returning rusher Rico Dowdle. Not to mention the late addition of Tavien Feaster from Clemson that will give the Gamecocks another weapon on offense.

Bentley is the real threat in this offense, and he will be looking to show that he can handle the pressure when playing a top-five team.

On the flip side, the Gamecocks’ run defense is still shaky at best and just plain awful at worst.

This will be a fun game for Swift and co. in the Georgia backfield.

Georgia will have no problem running the ball on this defense and will nicely complement the run game with timely play-action passes that will keep the South Carolina defense reeling all game long.

Georgia wins 45-24
