Week 8: Georgia Bulldogs @ Florida Gators

Date & Time: Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 @ 3:30pm

Ah yes, the world’s largest outdoor cocktail party!

Another year for the Dawgs to go out and beat the Gators while Florida fans continue to make excuses for why their team lost and how the game was closer than the score indicates.

Feleipe Franks is supposed to have a breakout season this year, but it didn’t look like he had improved much since last season when he went up against Miami last week.

Maybe he was just rusty, but it sure looked pretty similar to last year’s results.

He threw one interception that was just downright ugly, essentially placing the ball right in the Miami defender’s chest.

Florida returns most of their offense, including their leading rusher and receiver so they won’t lack experience when they step onto the field.

The Gator’s defense has a solid secondary, but they did lose linebacker Vosean Joseph and star safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson to the NFL. This defense is no joke, though. Their secondary is reliable, but their defensive line can be a game wrecker.

Even though Georgia has a top-three offensive line in the country, they will be thoroughly tested in this game. Hopefully, the line is at full strength because otherwise this Florida defensive line will find the weak link and take advantage of whoever that is in a big way.

Despite an excellent defense and an improved offense, the Bulldogs are still likely to walk away from Jacksonville with a win as the Gators are not yet on Georgia’s level.
