The Kirby Smart led and Jere Morehead fed Georgia football facility game goes long again. The goal line is nation’s best.

One Georgia football building program closes, another one opens. In January of 2022, Bulldog football players, coaches, and staff take occupancy of the grandest of the grand football palaces.

It’s an 80-million dollar project, and if history is any indication, that’s the minimum.

A year ago, Georgia opened Sanford Stadium’s 63 million dollar enhancement behind the West end zone featuring a 33 percent larger video board, 5,400 square-feet locker room, and a 10,574 square-foot recruiting hospitality lounge for recruits during visits.

The year before that, Georgia opened the 31 million dollar Payne Indoor Athletic Facility.
