Second to none
The big news, if there is any, is Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity said this is it for buildings in the Dooley complex.
“This will certainly complete any construction within the Vince Dooley Complex, within the area of the track and those areas, but this will be a facility that will be second to none, and one everyone can be proud of.”
The building itself will be adjacent to the indoor athletic facility. It will be three stories, with the third floor being on level with the second floor of the current Butts-Mehre Building.

Certainly, with 165,000-square square feet spread among three floors sandwiched between the Indoor Practice Facility and the track, there’s no room for anything else.
Or is there?
