Georgia football rolls as it shutout Arkansas State 55-0. The Dawgs had an overall solid day. Here are the game grades based on positions.

Georgia football has now pitched a shutout in back to back seasons.

Last year the Bulldogs shutout Austin Peay 45-0. This goose egg Georgia gave Red Wolves was a dominating showing from the Junkyard Dawgs at every aspect of the game.

A lot of young guys got a chance to get some experience and make some plays.

For the third week in a row, Georgia’s offense collected at least 450 total offensive yards. The Dawgs amassed 656 total yards against the Red Wolves.

On the ground, Georgia went for 268 yards, and through the air, the Dawgs had a hay day with 388 yards.

Yea, you read that correctly. Georgia threw more than it rushed for, and that’s a good sign for the weeks to come.

It shows that the Dawgs can have an offense if a defense slows down the running game.

Granted this game was against Arkansas State and not an Auburn, but the team put together a dominating, and I mean dominating win. There isn’t much that this offense cannot do, and this week was all about fine-tuning the good stuff and eliminating the bad.

As for the defense, it was another day of havoc for the Dawgs. Georgia’s defense did a great job shutting down Arkansas State and held the Red Wolves to 220 total yards.

The Dawgs rushing defense held an opponent to under 100 yards on the ground for the second week in a row as the Red Wolves got just 43 on the ground.

Overall, the Dawgs got the win and a big one at that. Here is a breakdown of each position and the grades they receive for the performance against Arkansas State.
