Georgia football’s had a week off to get over the Notre Dame game and begin preparations on its second SEC opponent of the year, Tennessee. Here are three ways the Dawgs go to Knoxville and blow out the Vols for the third year in a row.

It’s now week six of the 2019 college football season, and Georgia football’s already got a conference win.

They’ve beaten a team that was ranked No.7  in the polls the week before the matchup. The Dawgs are fresh off their bye week and getting ready for the trip to Knoxville as the No. 3 team in the country.

Part of me wants to say the bye week came at the perfect time.

Georgia has been pretty beaten up, especially on defense. They are getting ready to start serious conference play and needed some time to heal.

That being said, part of me wishes the week off would have come later in the season when a break might have been needed more.

Either way, the Bulldogs will be in Knoxville this Saturday playing the Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium.

The Vols are also coming off their bye and desperately trying to improve a 1-3 record.

Regardless of what the numbers might or might not say, the SEC has its reputation for a reason. I’m a firm believer that any of its teams has somewhat of a chance to beat anyone else in the conference.

Because of that, much of what we have to run with as fans are purely speculation. Yes, numbers and stats are excellent. But still, they can also be deceiving, especially when your favorite team is playing in enemy territory.

Call it whatever you want. Maybe this is all simply what I’m hoping for, or, perhaps I’m good enough with numbers to be convincing.

Here are my three reasons why Georgia blows out Tennessee this Saturday.
