Georgia football and Tennessee are a rivalry that Dawg fans know too well. They’ve played each other 48 times now. However, since 2000, this rivalry has been quite interesting, so let’s rank the best five games since the turn of the century.

Georgia and Tennessee are both winning programs, with only Alabama having more wins in the SEC than either of them. So when they get together, there is always a chance for an instant classic.
Tennessee wasn’t in control of the series until 2000. At that point, Tennessee held the lead at 17-10-2 and had won 9 straight games dating back to 1989. The Vols were also ranked in the Top 10 for seven of the nine wins.

Georgia’s found a way to win a majority of these games since 2000. However, we can honestly say that most of these games were ones Dawg fans always talked about and sweated about, at least a couple of those years we did anyway.
