The swing: Six players in double figures

Georgia hasn’t gotten more than two players in double-figures very often this season, but against Arkansas, six players scored at least 10 points. Edwards led the way with 26 points and Hammonds joined him in the twenties with 22 points, 17 of which came in the first half. Tyree Crump scored 14 points off the bench. Harris and Sahvir Wheeler scored 11 each and Camara finished with 10 points.

For comparison, Sills, Joe and Jones combined to score 73 points for Arkansas. Three other scorers had the remaining 16 points. Georgia just had too much variety in the scoring column for Arkansas to contend with.

The Bulldogs had 10 three-pointers and 13 free throws. Hammonds, Camara and Harris each had a big put back drunk at some point. Wheeler took advantage of Arkansas giving up space in the paint and he either made a tough shot at the rim, or he found a player down low for an easier bucket. Offense in basketball doesn’t get much better than what Georgia presented on Saturday.
