It’s hard to list a guy who came to Georgia with as much fanfare as Crowell among the “role-players” but continued off-field issues (eventually leading to his dismissal) kept him from ever really becoming what Mark Richt hoped he was getting.
Ranking him as number ten is more just a nod to what he did in his single season on the field and what could have been had he stayed out of trouble.
He’s gone on to have a marginally successful NFL career after his two solid years at Alabama State. It’s a shame Georgia fans never really got to see what this talented running back could have done.
