Brian Herrien may very well have been one of the most underrated backs to ever play at Georgia. It’s almost certain he would have been a starter at most other programs in the nation, but he never wavered, spending his entire four years of eligibility in Athens.

One word comes to mind when you think of Herrien – dependable. He was the guy who could get the tough yards for you, or come up with a big play when the team needed it most. He could step in for players who were starting in front of him and the offense would hardly miss a beat.

Herrien didn’t compile any huge stats for a 4-year guy, but he was known for a few explosive plays that helped catapult Georgia to some big wins, including this incredible diving catch against Florida in the 2019 Cocktail Party.
