2016 national ranking: No. 2,009
2016 UGA class ranking: No. 22
Years at UGA: 2016-2019
Current team: Undecided

Joshua Moran was the last player on the 2016 recruiting class when he signed as a preferred walk-on, and nothing has changed four years later. Moran did play extensively on the scout team and was one of Georgia’s best players in the classroom. Moran still has a year of eligibility left and he entered the transfer portal in December, but hasn’t chosen his new school yet.

player. 814. . Cornerback. Bulldogs . Chad Clay. 21

2016 national ranking: No. 378
2016 UGA class ranking: No. 14
Years at UGA: 2016
Current team: None

Chad Clay left Georgia and transferred to Marshall after his true freshman season. Clay never appeared in a game for Marshall.

814. . Punter. Bulldogs . Marshall Long. 20. player

2016 national ranking: No. 1587
2016 UGA class ranking: No. 21
Years at UGA: 2016-2018
Current team: None (retired)

When Marshall Long signed in 2016, he quickly became Georgia’s full-time punter and he had a pretty good season. 14 of his punts stayed behind the 20-yard-line and he averaged 38.7 yards on 49 punts. Not bad, especially for a freshman. Unfortunately, Long suffered a knee injury 10 weeks into the 2016 season and he never fully recovered. Long eventually retired from football after the 2018 season and he remained on scholarship at UGA.
