UGA football fans are hoping for another SEC Championship appearance from the Bulldogs.

UGA football has dominated the SEC East in recent times, going 17-1 against divisional opponents and 21-3 against the SEC as a whole over the past three seasons. As a result, they’ve earned three consecutive bids to the SEC Championship Game, though they are just 1-2 in those games.

There are plenty of reasons for UGA football fans to feel confident that the team will continue to roll through the conference and make it four straight appearances in Atlanta. From a stingy returning defense to a fiery new offense, Georgia could be poised to make it four straight SEC Championship Game appearances.

It’s certainly Georgia’s to lose at this point based on the last few years of success combined with returning players and the incoming recruiting class.

A trip to the SEC Championship Game is far from locked down though, as multiple factors are working against the Dawgs. From an unknown schedule to lots of offensive turnover to uncertainty on the season itself, winning the SEC East is nowhere near a guarantee this year.
