Georgia football’s seniors won’t get the senior night they and their families deserve, but we can still let them know how much we love them.

Since Vanderbilt once again canceled, the Georgia Bulldogs’ regular season is officially over. After desperately trying to schedule another opponent for their seniors, Georgia football has had to cancel Senior Night, becoming the only SEC team unable to send their seniors off with a proper farewell. Family members that were planning to make the trip will no longer be able to walk across Dooley Field to meet their senior. And the seniors will no longer have the opportunity to suit up and play one last matchup between the hedges in front of a crowd cheering them on and celebrating their accomplishments.

But, we can still celebrate them and let them know how much we’ll miss them.

This senior class is responsible for three SEC East titles, one SEC Championship, one historic Rose Bowl win, and the first national title game appearance since the 1980s. They’ve also dominated the East and, as Kirby Smart’s first full recruiting class, they’ve completely changed the culture at UGA.

They proved that pressure is a privilege and became the embodiment of physicality, discipline, and composure. They kept chopping and built the foundation of great things to come. And they deserve to know how much we appreciate them.

So, over the next few days, instead of sharing your hatred for Vanderbilt and mourning what could have been, I challenge you to share your love for these seniors and all they’ve done for this program using the hashtag #ThankYouUGASeniors. I’ve included a list of all the graduating seniors below with their social media handles for Twitter and Instagram depending on which one they have. If you’re unsure what to say, feel free to share this letter but a simple thank you is more than enough.

If we can’t cheer for them in the stands, then let’s cheer for them on social media! Post some photos, share your thanks and some favorite memories, use the hashtag, & tag some players. You never know who might see it. #ThankYouUGASeniors
