Kendall Milton

Out of all the running backs on Georgia’s roster, Kendall Milton is my personal favorite. Milton is a tough runner who can get lots of yards after contact and has the after-burners to leave defenders in the dust.

Basically, he reminds me a lot of Nick Chubb, which has me very excited about this young man’s potential in Athens.

As a freshman, Milton did not get many opportunities to run the ball because of Georgia’s loaded backfield that included guys like Zamir White and James Cook. Still, he made the most of his opportunities. He finished his 2020 freshman year with 35 carries and 193 rushing yards, which included averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

He led all UGA running backs last week with 66 yards on 10 carries. Though the running game started the year shaky and does have some things to work on, it has gotten better each week, with Georgia rushing for a season-high 184 yards last week.

So far on the season, Vanderbilt is giving up nearly 200 rushing yards per game. Expect Todd Monken to have lots of run plays tomorrow to carve up Vandy’s defense, with Milton being the biggest beneficiary.

Oh yeah, and check out some of Kendall’s merch too. He was one of the first Dawgs to announce deals when the NCAA allowed players to profit from their name, image, and likeness.
