Undersized receiver Ladd McConkey spent his freshman season at Georgia running the scout team against future NFL-ers Eric Stokes, Tyson Campbell, and DJ Daniel.

All of those reps against guys now playing on Sundays showed up in spades for McConkey against the Dores.

He hauled in four catches for 62 yards and his first touchdown as a Dawg, on a play where he beautifully high-pointed the football in the right corner of the endzone to put six on the board for the good guys.

Like Brock Bowers, McConkey also made a house call on the ground, taking one in on a 24-yard scamper in the first quarter to put Georgia ahead 35-0.

He performed like a guy that could one day be the front man for the wide receiver room, so we think he’s worthy of that lead guitar sticker this week.
