Georgia football proved a point on Saturday against Arkansas, and now there shouldn’t be anyone in college football who doubts the Bulldogs.

The Dawgs took their second top-10 opponent of the season to the woodshed as they shut out No. 8 Arkansas 37-0, moving to 5-0, 3-0 on the season. Head coach Kirby Smart should be quite proud of his team after the tail-whipping they gave the Hogs.

Georgia didn’t have to be super explosive on offense. They just handed the ball off to their stable of running backs, who looked like they were running with a vengeance. It didn’t matter if it was Zamir White, James Cook, Kenny McIntosh or Kendall Milton — each of them found success on the ground.

On defense, the Dawgs punched Arkansas in the mouth and didn’t let off the entire game. They caused all kinds of havoc and put the Hogs back in their place. After Trelon Smith laughed at what Nolan Smith said about this defense, I  knew it would be a long day for the Hogs rush attack.

Even Georgia’s special teams showed their eliteness on Saturday, blocking a punt and scoring a touchdown on that play.

Anyone who doubted Georgia before this game should have no issues with this team after this beatdown. After going up 21-0 in the first quarter, I  knew it would be a long game for Arkansas. Georgia forced the Hogs to be sloppy, and they made them quit. You could see the confidence diminishing each three-and-out the offense had.

Georgia and Alabama are the two best teams in the country, and as long as the Dawgs stay healthy, it’ll continue to be that way. The Dawgs’ confidence continues to grow, but at the same time, they are so humble about themselves.

There is something about the way this team plays for each other and loves each other —that is special to see, especially in this day and age. Even with Stetson Bennett in at quarterback for JT Daniels, the offense didn’t skip a beat.

Georgia didn’t need to pass the ball against Arkansas. They just beat them on the ground running it down their throat. The interior offensive line did a much better job against the Hogs, and hopefully, that’ll help their confidence grow as the challenging part of the season arrives.

The Dawgs did their job on Saturday, and there shouldn’t be a doubter left in the country. Stay healthy, and this Georgia team will be in Atlanta along with the College Football Playoffs.
