It don’t get much better than this, boys. These are the types of games you come to the University of Georgia to play in.

This’ll be the 126th time this game has been played. The moment you step on that field, you’re part of a history and a rivalry that’s bigger than all of us.

It’s been played in Savannah. It’s been played in Atlanta. It’s been in Columbus. It’s been in Athens. And it’s been played here on The Plains.

Regardless of where this ballgame gets played, one thing remains the same – it’s a knock-down, drag out street brawl full of fight and fire, and you can bet your asses we’re gonna bring plenty of both today.

Let’s just be clear about this.

We’re Georgia.

They’re Auburn.

They don’t like us. We don’t like them.

That stadium is gonna be hostile. They’re gonna have that damn eagle flying through the stadium before we kick off.

Today is one of the only days of the year that Auburn and their faithful hate somebody worse than they hate Alabama.

And that’s because today, they hate you.

There’s gonna be 87,000-strong dedicating every bit of their emotions and energy into rooting against you. They’re gonna boo you like the villains they think you are.

Embrace it.

Harness all of that energy.

Let it flow through you like the fire of a thousand suns and fuel you.

And when that opening whistle blows, I want you to unleash on their ass for 60 minutes with a fury never seen before in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

We are going to dictate the outcome of this game by lining up and doing what we do best. Playing with physicality and composure and imposing our will Every. Single. Down.

At the end of the game, there won’t be no more noise. There won’t be no flying eagle. There’s just gonna be a team and a fanbase trying to get the license plate number on the red and black tractor-trailer that just flattened their ass.

Let’s Go!
