Georgia football needs to feed Zamir White more

in January, Zamir White announced he was coming back for his senior season. Since then, Georgia fans have been drooling over the idea of White tearing through SEC defenses. The last couple of weeks against Arkansas and Auburn, they have got it.

Against Auburn, White rushed for 79 yards on 18 carries. While he averaged 4.4 yards a carry — they were hard physical yards. The yards that make defenders dread seeing you with the ball late in games.

His first touchdown brought back Georgia flashbacks of the old days as he flew over the top for the score like the older Georgia fans watch Herschel Walker do. The second touchdown was as physical of run you will see. He literally ran over two Auburn defenders without missing a beat.

White has looked like a possessed man on a mission the last two weeks against the Hogs and Tigers.

He has earned every bit of 354 yards he has run this season and is the back that has gotten into the endzone the most. With six scores under his belt and averaging 5.0 yards a carry on the year, why not feed him against a team like Kentucky.

While it will, of course, be running back by committee for the Dawgs, let White show off a little bit. He is overdue for a 100+ yard rushing game, so is James Cook — heck, at this point, they all are. If the Dawgs find success running the ball, all four could see season-high numbers.

Georgia is going to run the ball because, as RBU, that is what they do. The Dawgs are going to run it right at Kentucky and dare them to stop it. When Kentucky does break, don’t be shocked if it is White standing in the end zone.

The Dawgs need to stick to the same game plan they’ve had since Vanderbilt because it works. While Kentucky will give Georiga a fight, it could get ugly fast for the Wildcats if the Dawgs do these three things.
