Georgia Football Defense Helmet Sticker: Kelee Ringo

Kelee Ringo gets the defense helmet sticker for the grit and determination he showed on Saturday.

He finished the game with seven tackles, including five solo grabs, a tackle for loss and a sack.

Ringo got his first solo sack of the season, and it was a memorable one. With October being breast cancer awareness month and this game having a pink-out theme, it means a lot to him.

His mother has breast cancer, so for him to have a moment like this to honor her is incredible to see. Ringo played hard and honored his mother well.

Georgia needs a guy like Ringo back there with Lewis Cine and the others. He has natural leadership qualities to him, and they grow each week.

He has been a shut-down corner all season, giving up very few catches. Despite missing all of last year, Ringo hasn’t skipped a beat, and he is slowly becoming the top guy in the secondary.

Ringo gets better every week he plays, and with him being young, there is so much ahead of him. This first sack will be one of many, and that interception count will go up as well.

Some may question naming him as the person to get the helmet sticker after Kentucky, but with seven tackles, the second most behind Quay Walker, his sack elevated him. Not to mention, having that moment on a day when it mattered a lot to him had to feel good.
