Carter is arguably the most impactful defensive player on the field for Florida. As a senior, he is one of the defense leaders and turns the heads of some NFL scouts.

He is 6-4 and 285-pounds, which may seem tiny compared to what Georgia fans typically see from the defensive line position. Don’t let his size fool you, though. This year, the Tampa native has 18 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, and a forced fumble. It’s safe to say that the Georgia offensive line will have their work cut out for them.

The biggest threat that he poses to Georgia is pressuring the quarterback and running back, as evident by his six quarterback takedowns and nearly nine tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Keeping him at bay and allowing enough for the quarterback to make a play or the running back to find a hole will be necessary for Jamaree Salyer and company.

So if the Dawgs can contain Carter and prevent him from recording too many tackles for loss, it’ll be considered a good day.

However, with the way Georgia’s offensive line improves each week, Dawg fans should have confidence knowing they will be up to the challenge against this talented defensive end.
