Between Florida and Georgia, it seems likely we will see four quarterbacks in the game on Saturday.

Like the Dawgs, Florida has two very talented quarterbacks that offer different skill sets on the field. Gator head coach Dan Mullen has also confirmed that both Jones and Richardson will be rotating on Saturday.

Jones is a 6-2 redshirt junior that leads the Gators with 1,305 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. He is also mobile with the ball in his hands, as he has nearly 500 rushing yards so far in seven games.

The one knock against Jones is that he turns the ball over often. This year, he has thrown at least one interception in all but one game, giving him nine total on the season.

Georgia’s defense needs to keep Jones in the pocket so he won’t rip off a big run. Pressuring him to throw the ball will also be important due to his high turnover rate.

The hometown kid Richardson is a 6-4 freshman that can throw the ball deep and make some plays with his legs.

He helped spark the Florida offense against LSU, going 10-for-19 with 167 yards, three touchdowns, and a rushing score. Like Jones, however, he also tends to cough up the ball.

The fans might want Richardson to get the start over Jones in this game, but do you want a freshman to start against the team with the best defense in the country?  Richardson will play but expect the Gators to ease him into the game after a couple of offensive series.
