Georgia football fans, this is the weather we’ve all been waiting on this season — proper football weather.

Not that the last few games have been miserable weather, but to see weather.com predict a high of 72-degrees is something that should make everyone giddy. Thankfully the rain got out of this area Thursday evening, which brought in the little cold spell.

There will be around 14 miles-per-hour winds and a 7% chance of rain, but still, to have a game where it won’t get in the 80s finally defines football weather.

The wind will die down as the day goes on, but there will still thankfully be a breeze during the game. After tailgating all morning, there is nothing like getting a cool breeze hit the back of your neck as you sit down in your seats.

Tailgaters will be even happier to see that the humidity will be at 65%, so layers could be needed after halftime when it gets into the early evening hours.

With it being the final weekend in October, it’s about time the weather cooled off, so even though it’ll be ideal during the day, make sure you take an extra layer just in case.

The sunsets at 6:41 p.m., and while that’ll likely be around the same time the game ends, the party doesn’t stop, now if the Dawgs come out on top, these fans will party until the wee hours of the morning, so stash a jacket or sleeves in the truck.

Also, keep in mind that the low on Saturday will be 50-degrees, so it will cool off even more once the sunsets.

However, the best part about this glorious Saturday is the football gods blessing all fans, Dawgs and Gators alike, with an ideal day. There have been a few times where the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party included sweating like it was August 31 and others where it was downright cold, so these fans should consider themselves blessed.

So everyone enjoys the perfect weather the football gods provided because Saturday’s weather will also be ideal for taking the Gators to the woodshed and remaining undefeated on the season.
