How bout them, Dawgs, Georgia football fans? For the eighth week this season, Georgia has gone into the game and dominated their opponent.

They are the No.1 ranked team in the country, receiving all 63 votes in the AP Top 25. It’s a perfect time to be a Dawg fan right now.

Saturday’s games against the Gators wasn’t perfect, but it didn’t have to be. That defense is so strong they were able to stop Florida enough times and took the ball enough times to get the victory.

The Dawgs still held them under their season average despite giving up the second rushing touchdown of the year. Sure, Florida outgained the Dawgs by one yard, but we all know those three turnovers weigh more than total yardage.

Offensively, Georgia trusted Stetson Bennett to get the job done, and while he wasn’t his best, it was plenty enough to win. The rushing attack did a better job than the Gators, which helped get the win.

Georgia football could hand out helmet stickers to its whole squad, but only four earned them against the Gators.

These guys stood out above the rest, and one of them did it without most people realizing what he was doing.

The entire team deserves one for taking control of the rivalry game instead of bowing down and falling short. Georgia needed this win mentally, and so did the fans. Now the hope is almost unbearable because the goal is within sight.

However, that isn’t how it works, so here are the four guys who earned their stickers this week.
