2. Dawgs refused to quit until they completed the revenge tour in style

There was something different about Georgia football and their team on Saturday. Yes, they started a bit lackluster and missed a field goal on their opening possession, but then it’s like something clicked.

Well, it was the turnovers, but once they decided okay, we’re good enough to do this, it was on, and Florida didn’t stand a chance.

The Gators scored because they executed off a mistake, and well kudos to them. After all, Georgia doesn’t make many.

Georgia refused to accept anything other than a win. They were not going home with a loss, and it showed they wanted to make a statement.

The way this team carries itself is impressive to see because of how selfless they are. There aren’t any prima donnas on Georgia’s squad, but instead a bunch of players who love the university and want to do whatever it takes to win that national championship.

When Florida beat the Dawgs last year, this game got circled as a moment in the season for Georgia to show what happened last year wasn’t going to be a regular occurrence moving forward. The Dawgs wanted revenge in a desperate way, and they got it.

These seniors can say they went 3-1 against Florida and did it in a dominating style. That no-quit attitude is what will carry Georgia the distance. They had to get over this hump, and they did. Florida was the first hump, and now four regular-season games remain before they hit the final mountain to climb — Alabama and the College Football Playoffs.
