1. Georgia football fans should be beyond excited about this 8-0 start

Regardless of how Georgia football got the win over Florida, everyone who calls themselves a Dawg fan should be excited about this outcome.

Georgia is 8-0 overall and 6-0 in conference play with Missouri, Tennessee, Charleston Southern, and Georgia Tech remains. The Dawgs beat Florida, who was the last big regular-season test, and they won by 27 points.

Wins don’t have to be gorgeous, as long as Georgia gets the victory and sends the other team home packing. Despite having such high standards for this team and claiming they have to do x-number of things to win a national title, enjoy the ride.

No, it wasn’t pretty. Georgia can fix plenty of things between now and the SEC Championship, but like we’ve done all season long, it’s a week-by-week season, and we need to treat each game like it’s the last.

The Dawgs did that against Florida. This team laid it out there, beat their rivals, and can remain the No.1 team in the country. There aren’t many undefeated teams left, and those that are cannot even say they’re as good as Georgia. If the Dawgs stay healthy, this could mean smooth sailing.

Georgia fans need to soak this in and realize what the Dawgs did on Saturday instead of complaining about every little mistake. This team didn’t give up and refused to let Flordia gain much momentum. Instead, they put their foot down and proved to the world that Georgia is the best football team right now, and it’s not close.
