Georgia football will see 300 yards on the ground

Georgia football is going up against the worst rush defense in the SEC as Missouri gives up 283.88 yards a game, so it isn’t too far-fetched to predict they will go for 300 yards on Saturday.

The Dawgs average around 193 on the ground through nine games, but this week they will feast.

Zamir White became the first Dawg of the year to achieve a 100-yard game as he went for 105 yards on 14 carries and one score. However, this week will be different. White and James Cook will likely go 100-plus yards against the Tigers and add a couple of touchdowns.

Georgia is overdue for a dominating rush performance, and yes, we mean that even with three straight games of 200-plus yards. This week is an opportunity to show how elite this offense is and why the Dawgs are the true RBU.

White gets stronger as the season goes on, and Cook takes on multiple roles because he is so solid with his hands. Cook is also extremely fast around the corner, so watch out.

This week needs to include some explosive runs of 30-plus yards. White toted the rock for 42 yards against the Gators, so if he gets a hole — hit that next gear and run for the endzone.

It wouldn’t be surprising either if Kenny McIntosh finished with a solid game as well. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury, so that a solid game would be great for his confidence.

While 300 yards is a tall order, it isn’t against this rush defense.
