Georgia football went to Rocky Top and destroyed Tennessee to make history.
The atmosphere, the offense at Tennessee, the fan base possibly throwing mustard at you with all that Georgia knew their job, and they did it.
Georgia has found itself almost weekly facing a team that’s “unlike any team they’ve faced.” Each week Georgia has done the same thing to every single one of them.
Defensively this team is the best unit we have ever seen. The talent, depth, and experience are a perfect storm for this Georgia defense, and it shows. On the field, in the stat column and record book, it’s evident.
Offensively this Georgia team is phenomenal. Second in the SEC in scoring, only behind big bad Alabama. You hear nothing about it from the media. This unit is flying under the radar, and for Georgia, you could not ask for more.
Nobody should claim that Charleston Southern or Georgia Tech will challenge the Dawgs for the next two weeks.
The Bucs are up first for the Dawgs, and they more than likely have one goal — to score points on this vaunted Georgia defense. However, Georgia’s defense is going for a shut-out, trying to improve those already insane numbers. While the Dawgs’ defense has been the star of the show, the offense is just as explosive and looking to hang 40-plus points.
It’s also senior night for Georgia. After missing out on this night last year because Vanderbilt canceled twice, Georgia will be ready to show out for their seniors. Finally, the Dawgs get to honor their veteran players, so good luck Charleston Southern. This group is going to put on a show.
These are the three things on the offensive side of the ball Georgia should do against the Bucs as the Dawgs are looking to 11-0 and move one step closer to winning it all.

1. Georgia football needs to rest the banged-up players
While this might sound crazy, Georgia football should rest any player who has anything wrong with him. Whether it’s the stomach flu, a nagging injury, or anything in between, these starters who have sacrificed week-after-week need to get some rest, while they should play a couple of series, don’t risk anything against Charleston Southern — they aren’t the New England Patriots.
Georgia can beat Charleston Southern easily if they stay focused, so it won’t matter who is on the field as long as they understand the assignment.
This game is not the time to get cute or be Mr. Football. Georgia has a chance to do something it hasn’t done in over 40 years. Why risk it here against Charleston Southern?
No disrespect to the Bucs, Georgia has to look at the bigger picture. A non-conference game at home allows you to dress more players, so Georgia should use that to their advantage.
The other rule Georgia can use is the redshirt rule. The four-game limit to redshirt will allow head coach Kirby Smart to use some freshmen we have not seen much of this season.
Seeing Amarius Mims, Brock Vandagriff, and Jackson Meeks will give a glimpse into the future of this offense. Plus, you never know when you need one of these guys, and this is a great chance to get them a lot of playing time. We want to see a high participation number because the Dawgs should overpower these Bucs and do it with a total group effort.

Give Stetson Bennett reps, but allow another Georgia football quarterback to shine
Stetson Bennett is the starting quarterback for the 10-0 University of Georgia. How cool is that? Honestly, I do not see how. Bennett sacrifices himself each week for this team and has done more than enough to prove himself. By reading social media, though, some fans still are not too enthusiastic about it.
The former walk-on is now QB1 for his childhood dream school. You have to be a real Grinch not to like that.
More than likely, you are somebody who said last season Stetson Bennett could never win big at Georgia, and rather than admit that you’re wrong, you want to keep screaming JT Daniels should play. While we all can have an opinion, and yes, JT Daniels is a talented quarterback, head coach Kirby Smart and Todd Monken know what they’re doing.
That said, Stetson should play two maybe three drives at the most on Saturday and then sit. Let Daniels run the offense for a good chunk of the game and begin musical chairs at the quarterback position.
Monken has shown Benett will be using his legs more and more. Rest up Bennett, you have the biggest games of your life ahead, and Georgia does not need to drain him against Charleston Southern.
Usually, you would say the quarterback needs to have game reps to stay sharp, but with a game like Charleston Southern, they can get in a few series and let the others get reps.
These games are to let younger guys play so they can gain confidence. Bennett works hard enough. Taking a bit of a rest this week will do him some good.

3. Georgia football lets the young guys tote the rock
Daijun Edwards sits in one of the best running back rooms in college football, and he gets to learn from the likes of James Cook, Zamir White, and Kendall Milton while awaiting his turn.
The youngster has seen some action toward the end of some of these blowouts, and the way he runs has surely won over fans already. Saturday should be a time for him to shine.
For the year, Edwards has 33 carries for 113 yards and one touchdown. The beauty of Edwards’ numbers is everybody in the stadium knows he is getting the ball. When he enters the game, it’s mop-up duty.
It’s time to let Edwards get some reps earlier in the game and share with load with Kenny McIntosh. It is senior day for the Dawgs, and while I understand Cook and White need to play — we would not want them to get banged up during this game.
Let Thunder and Lightning get their carries for senior day, but let Edwards and McIntosh tote the rock after halftime. There is no harm in allowing him to get more than a couple of carries. It keeps White and Cook healthy while allowing him to get some more experience.
Georgia football should have no problem with offensive production on Saturday. They need to come out guns blazing, though, and put the Bucs away fast.
They are the undisputed No.1 team in the country for a reason, so it’s time to run over the next opponent standing in the Dawgs way. No letting off the gas, run up the score, and produce a smothering win over an opponent you should beat by seven touchdowns.
