1. Channing Tindall

Starting linebacker Channing Tindall is a 6-foot-2 fourth-year senior out of Columbia, South Carolina that has made a massive impact on this defense with his outstanding ability to cover side-to-side with his blazing speed and ability to run down opposing players.

So far through 10 games, Tindall has racked up four sacks, 53 total tackles, and a forced fumble. He has been wreaking havoc on every opposing team this year.

Tindall lacks the length of Anderson but certainly makes up for it in other areas. Last week against the Vols, his explosiveness shined through as he led the team with three sacks in the second half.

Throughout his four years at UGA, Tindall has seemed to make an impact each year, but more than ever this season. Tindall leads the entire team with 27 solo tackles and is just second with sacks, behind Nakobe Dean, who has 4.5 on the season.

If there is any single player who can replace the production of Adam Anderson, it is most definitely Tindall.

Tindall’s closing speed is so incredible, and he has already stepped into Anderson’s role and proved himself. He and Dean work so well together, and they are too much for most teams. Tindall will likely be the guy who fills the role as Georgia will look to use him and Dean as a dynamic duo, but the kicker here is he will gain more confidence the more he plays.

This situation could be hitting at the right moment because it wouldn’t be surprising to see him step up and prove himself after that Tennessee game. He made some money last week in terms of NFL draft stock, and he is looking to increase it even more throughout the final stretch of the season.
