1. Georgia football needs to show off Stetson Bennett

We all know Georgia’s strength on offense in the offensive line and running game’s ability to suffocate and run all over opposing defenses. The Dawgs are, however, second in the SEC in scoring. Quickly scoring a lot of points is usually done with explosive plays.

Georgia football starting quarterback Stetson Bennett has hit plenty of explosive plays this year. Saturday afternoon in Atlanta is an excellent opportunity for Kirby Smart to allow the Mailman to deliver some more.

The Dawgs are fortunate to have Georgia Tech on the schedule, so they should take advantage of it. We do not expect Bennett to play much, and we do not want to watch him hand it off a few times, throw a couple of dunks and sit down to let the other quarterbacks do their thing.

Let Bennett air it out as he did against UAB in September when he went 10-of-12 for 288 yards and five touchdowns. He was almost perfect that day and gained a lot of confidence from putting up those numbers. Since then, Bennett has performed well, resulting in him becoming one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC.

Bennett is a die heart Dawg, and he hasn’t gotten to have his day against the rival Yellow Jackets as they didn’t play last year. It’ll show that next opponent Bennett can sling the rock with the best of them by airing it out.
