Well, the final Georgia football regular-season game is finally here, and while this season has flown by, there has never been a more exciting time to be a Dawg.

Georgia is 11-0 on the season, they have been the No.1 team in the country for seven weeks, and next week doesn’t seem nearly as daunting. While the easy thing to do is look ahead to Alabama, and the fans can, but this football team cannot. They must focus on their final regular-season test, and that is in-state rival Georgia Tech.

The Dawgs come in as 35 point favorites, and in all honesty, that will be the case if Georgia feels nice enough to let it be. It’s been two years since Georgia played Tech, and the Dawgs won 52-7. This week could result in a similar score if Georgia can come in and remain focused.

Georgia needs to come into this matchup like they did last week, looking to put this game away early and let the backups handle the rest of the game. If the Dawgs can rest some of these guys one more week, then a very lethal team will be heading back to Atlanta next week for the SEC Championship Game.

Georgia football looks for win No. 12, and here are six bold predictions on how they earn it.

The Dawgs currently average 40.2 points a game, while the Yellow Jackets average 28.8 points. Georgia’s defense has given up 83 points all year and looks to keep it that way. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Dawgs did shut out Georgia Tech. If they did, it would be the icing on the cake.

Georgia is far more talented and put together to lose this ballgame, but they cannot come out sluggish. Dominate football and leave Atlanta, making Tech question why they even have a football team — that is the goal.

Here are six bold predictions for this week’s game as the Dawgs look to get their 12th win on the season and finish a perfect 12-0 heading into conference championship week and eventually the playoffs.
