Georgia football sees its quarterbacks combine for 300+ passing yards

Georgia football used four different quarterbacks last week against Charleston Southern, and this week will probably see them use at least two, give or take, who they bring on the travel squad.

Against the Bucs, the Dawgs went 20-of-37 for 255 yards and four touchdowns. They completed 54% of their passes and put on a show. It wasn’t about the numbers last week, but more about putting the game away and letting the starters rest.

This week will be a similar game plan, but it would be great to see starting quarterback Stetson Bennett and JT Daniels combine for 300-plus passing yards and at least three touchdowns.

When it’s rivalry week, you want to stack those stats because they are individual bragging opportunities, so the Dawgs need to get creative and put up some numbers.

Bennett will likely get the start, and the key for him needs to be making quick, accurate throws and getting Georiga up by two or more touchdowns early. Daniels needs to come in and handle this game like he is the starter and throw for a couple of touchdowns.

Offensive coordinator Todd Monken needs to have some fun this week and get creative. When he is clever, this offense is as explosive as the other ones across the country. This week though, it’s about embarrassing the Yellow Jackets and making them quit.

Bennett and Daniels will do their part by exposing Tech’s secondary while elevating their wideouts to look even more impressive. The Dawgs are far too talented on this side of the ball not to have 300-plus passing yards.
