The leading tackler of this Georgia Tech defense is Quez Jackson, with 97 of them and has two sacks on the year.

Jackson, a Fort Valley, Ga., native, has appeared in every game since he landed at Tech.

Quez Jackson has been but one of the few steady pieces for this Georgia Tech defense averaging at least eight tackles through all eleven games this season so far.

He doesn’t get in the backfield a lot to force a sack, but he is one of the main ones when creating pressure in certain third-down situations for this Yellow Jacket defense.

One weak spot for Jackson would be his play in the zone or man coverage when defending a running back on an angle route or a tight end on a seam route, something that the Georgia offense could very well take advantage of on Saturday.

Georgia’s offensive line and blockers will have to watch out for him because he will spy and try to pop up when a team least expects it. The Dawgs just need to block him well, and they should find success.

Jackson’s play will be huge in this game for Tech, as it provides a good warm-up for the Dawgs as they prepare for Alabama’s linebacking core in the SEC Championship game the next week.
