Georgia football’s Senior Class

Every Georgia football class seems to have at least one player who is special to a team, but this outgoing senior class has an entire group that could fall under the category of impact players.

Senior leaders like Devonte Wyatt, Christopher Smith, James Cook, Jamaree Salyer, and others have elevated the team. Their leadership has been important throughout the season, as Georgia has played some of its best football in a really long time.

Jordan Davis, arguably the face of Georgia Football, led the way at the end of last season by announcing his return to the team in 2021 instead of turning pro. Other players followed, leading to incredible excitement from Georgia fans and this 12-0 record.

Players on the team have expectations that they look to meet or exceed every single week, and most of them are determined by each other. Go and watch any player’s press conference, and you will hear most of them talking about the level of play expected from their teammates each week.

These seniors are the flag-bearers for the team. Without them, the Bulldogs would not be enjoying the levels of success they are currently. They are the group who could finally do it all for the Dawgs, and it seems like they want to put their name in the history books.
