Christen Miller is the third player who could pick the Dawgs on Wednesday.

This battle seems to be between the Dawgs and Southern Cal for the Ellenwood, Ga., native. The West Coast seems like a long way away for a peach state kid, but we’ve seen it happen before.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Miller is the No. 107 overall, No. 19 defensive linemen, and No.11 in Georgia.

The Dawgs will also battle it out with Ohio State and Alabama for this talented defensive lineman. Georgia already has a pretty stout defensive line class, but getting a 6-4, 285-pound player is never a bad thing to add.

His latest visit was to Oregon back on Nov. 13, and Alabama was late to the party offering him on Nov. 1. Miller visited Georgia on Sept. 18, and by Oct. 21, Georgia recruiting expert Rusty Mansell predicted he would choose the Dawgs.

He is a two-time state champion at Cedar Grove and fought hard with his brothers. Miller played both ways in high school but will stick to the defensive front in college.

Georgia is in a good spot to land this young man, but don’t count out Alabama either. Southern Cal may hold the other crystal ball prediction, but if the Tide wants someone bad enough, they will find a way to land him. The same could be said about Georgia too, so this battle could be fun to watch pan out in the next few days.
