Georgia football has been pushing to flip 5-star cornerback Travis Hunter from FSU for an extremely long time. The 5-star hasn’t done it yet, but the Dawgs continue to put the pressure on him.

He seems pretty committed to the Noles, as he has been pledged to them since March 3, 2020.

The 6-1 165-pound corner attends Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga., where he recently put on a show in the state championship game.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Hunter is the No. 1 overall, No. 1 cornerback and the No.1 player in Georgia.

Yet, he is going to FSU, and while that is frustrating, sometimes those things happen. However, Georgia will fight for this young man until they cannot do it anymore.

Hunter is an extremely talented cornerback who will be in the NFL in a few years. There isn’t much this young man cannot do, so they will benefit from having someone like him on their team wherever he ends up.

If there were another team, it would be Georgia. However, this flip will be challenging to make happen.

Head coach Kirby Smart has pushed hard for him down the stretch because it’s important to keep homegrown kids well at home, but only time will tell if it were enough to change his mind.

Hunter will likely end up at FSU, but Georgia will fight until the ink dries on the paper.
