A couple of linebackers Georgia football could snag

Another area Georgia football could look to in the transfer portal is the linebacker position.

They snagged two in the 2022 recruiting class, and there could be a few juniors declare to the NFL Draft from this position, so it may be smart to find one in the portal to help with depth.

Kentucky lost Marquez Bembry to the transfer portal, and he has yet to decide. This young man would be a great experience add. He is a senior with just one year of eligibility left, but that could give the Dawgs a year to let another younger guy develop more.

He didn’t get a ton of playing time, but with the proper development, Bembry could help out.

Maryland linebacker Terrence Lewis is a name the Dawgs could consider. Lewis was a five-star linebacker in Florida, out of high school, and he chose Maryland.

He has a ton of speed that could help the Dawgs out, and he is good at using his leverage. Lewis did tear his ACL last March, so he hasn’t gotten to play at all.

The Dawgs weren’t too interested in high school, but why not evaluate him and see what he could do. Tennessee was, and if it weren’t for Jeremy Pruitt getting fired, this kid might have ended up in Knoxville.

Georgia should consider, but only if he is healthy enough.

Mohamoud Diabate out of Florida is also a name to remember. Some others the Dawgs could look at are Vandy’s Brayden DeVault-Smith, Southern California’s Raymond Scott, and LSU’s Navonteque Strong.
