Georgia football not only lands top recruiting classes, but some of those young men are already practicing with the team, not even a week after signing.

That work ethic is something to think about because the Dawgs are landing guys who are ready to go and willing to join the team right away.

The four-star tight end, Oscar Delp, was already at bowl practice last week, and Mykel Williams also seems to be in Athens with the team.

These two are incredible home-state athletes that will be able to compete for some playing time next season.

Georgia football is already seeing part of its 2022 class show their worth.

Delp and Williams won’t get to play with the team on Dec. 31, but them being there and already starting to get adapted to the team is huge.

Them joining the team this early only helps them because the sooner they learn the playbook, the fast they can get on the field.

That maturity helps teams stay elite when they lose All-Americans to graduation or the NFL Draft. It’s showing the fans they are taking this seriously.

It’s not that the rest of the class isn’t. We think it’s excellent that Delp and now Williams chose to join bowl practice instead of waiting.

Head coach Kirby Smart has implemented a culture that makes kids want to join the team right away, and if that doesn’t excite you about the future, I don’t know what else could.

Next week, this team is heading to a playoff semifinal game; Christmas is this weekend, and Georgia fans should be excited.

This season has seen so many more positive moments than negative ones, so we should focus on that instead of dwelling on the negative.

Next. Three Georgia football players that could transfer after this season. dark

These two signees joining the team this quickly is a sign that this program is on the right track to keep doing what they did this season and more.
