Georgia football did a fabulous job putting together a video feature of Nakobe Dean and all he accomplished this season on and off the field.

The video crew outdid themselves once again, and Dean should be very proud of the feature. It isn’t often that a guy like Dean comes around, much less do it at the magnitude he is.

To win the Butkus award, lead the Georgia defense to one of their most elite seasons, working through an engineering degree and leading a charity that helps Athens children — he is a walking example of what coaches want out of their players.

Georgia football linebacker Nakobe Dean takes being a college athlete to the next level, and the Dawgs honored him with an incredible video.

There wasn’t much Dean didn’t accomplish this season. He won the Butkus Award and was named the Captain to the Allstate Good Works team, plus countless All-American honors.

Currently, Dean has 61 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, two interceptions, five pass breakups, 20 quarterback hurries and one forced fumble.

However, the stuff he did off the field was far more impressive. Dean is a selfless individual who does more for others than himself and enjoys it.

This video didn’t have to happen, but the university made it a point to honor Dean because he deserves it.

The video is must watch and something every single Georgia fan needs to watch. After watching, thank Dean on Twitter because we are so lucky to have him in Athens, and he deserves that love.

He inspires so many young people and should be to his teammates. Georgia is lucky to call him a Bulldog because he is a phenomenon.

Dean is already a projected first-round draft pick but still has one year of eligibility left, and while he will likely go if he stayed, it would be monumental for the Dawgs.

Maybe this video is the casual way of saying man stay one more year, but I doubt it. Dean will decide, but it’s crucial to know school is important to him, so maybe he shocks the world.

If he does, then Dean will get one more year to help the Dawgs do extraordinary things, plus it will only help him increase his stock as long as he doesn’t get hurt.

Georgia football has had a few notable players since head coach Kirby Smart got to Athens, but Dean tops them all, and this feature piece shows a glimpse of all he does on and off the field. He is a damn good dawg and will forever be one whether he stays one more year or heads to the NFL.
