Georgia football wins a national championship

The biggest Christmas of them all has to be winning a national championship. Now it’s evident Santa Claus cannot give this to the Dawgs, but we can all wish for it.

Heck, there are even ornaments with this same saying on it, so why not include it.

Georgia football fans, players, coaches, administrators, teachers, and anyone associated with the Dawgs want them to win a national championship. It’s been 41 years since the last one, and Georgia is long overdue for one.

Through the first 12 games, we all thought it was finally the year with how the defense played so dominantly and the offense scored at will. Alabama knocked Georgia down a few notches in the SEC Championship Game, but it wasn’t detrimental to the Dawgs.

With all this time between the conference championship game and the semifinal, Georgia has had plenty of time to regroup, refocus and get back to who they were before the loss.

If any of these three wishes could happen, winning a national title would be at the top because we all desperately want to win it, so we know what those in 1980 felt like when their team was the best in the country.

Georgia could have all three of these things granted, but then again, it’s Georgia football, and luck isn’t always in our favor. However, it’s the holiday season, so we will be jolly and merry because that is what we’re supposed to do when our team is No.3 in the country and crazy good.
