Georgia football is wasting no time putting points on the board, and offensive coordinator Todd Monken showed Michigan he can be creative.

Dawgs’ running back Kenny McIntosh threw a beautiful 18-yard pass to AD Mitchell to make it 14-0 in the first quarter.

The Dawgs have run the ball with success and are now using their running backs to make big pass plays. So far, Michigan hasn’t been able to do much, they did have some success offensively, but the Dawgs were able to stop them on fourth down.

Georgia needed to get creative to keep Michigan on its toes, and this play call was just what the doctor ordered.

Georgia football got a little crafty with the offensive play calling, and it paid off with a score.

After a big run from James Cook, Georgia was in a great spot with Michigan on their heels. Monken said, let’s have some fun with them, and boy, it was a beautiful play call.

Starting quarterback Stetson Bennett took the snap, handed it off to McIntosh like he was going to run it, then he dropped back and threw a beautiful pass.

That creativity proves how much he trusts this offense to do big things. McIntosh’s pass was on point, and he got Mitchell wide open, which gives the Dawg two scores from wide-open receivers.

Georgia has done a great job mixing the run and pass plays so far in this game, and it looks like they are on a mission to prove a point. This team looks like the one we all grew accustomed to watching the first 12 games of the season. Thank goodness they didn’t come out flat because this fanbase couldn’t handle another letdown.

The Dawgs look focused and like they’ve been in the playoffs before, and that experience seems to be paying off so far. They know what is on the line, and Georgia will do whatever it takes to get this win over Michigan to advance and get their shot at Alabama in the national championship game.
