Zamir White

The man is known as “Zeus” had to overcome obstacles at the beginning of his Georgia football career, but he has continued the tradition of Georgia being “RBU” this season.

Although he rotates with James Cook, Kenny McIntosh, and Kendall Milton for much of the year, White got the most carries in 2021. The redshirt junior has 147 carries, 772 yards, and 10 rushing touchdowns so far.

Unlike most of the other Georgia RBs, White is the power back who can run between the tackles and attack a defensive line. He can also burn a defense for a long touchdown, especially if that team is Florida.

White was the nation’s No. 1 running back coming out of Scotland High School in Laurinburg, N.C. He had a prolific high school career, rushing for 7,169 yards and 119 touchdowns. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL in the 2017 state playoffs and would suffer another ACL injury when he got to Georgia.

It took some time, but over the last two seasons, White has proved himself as a solid running back who can make an impact in the NFL. He will likely be graded as a third or fourth-round pick, but his stock could rise with a great game against Alabama or his performance at the NFL combine.
