Georgia football: 3 quick bold predictions for the national title
Stetson Bennett leads Georgia football to glory with 300+ yards & 4 TDs
With his performance against Michigan, Georgia football starting quarterback Stetson Bennett proved he can handle everything it takes to be the guy who wins it all.
Who cares what he has done against Alabama in the past. This game is a new moment for the Mailman because he knows how to trust himself. He has to fix some things regarding decision-making and such, but they are things he can improve.
Bennett went 29-of-48 for 340 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions against Alabama on Dec. 4. He followed that performance by going 20-of-30 for 313 yards and three touchdowns.
I would consider that much improved. Of course, Michigan’s defense isn’t as good as Alabamas’, but they were supposed to give him problems, yet they didn’t.
He has all the tools to make it happen. Now Bennett must trust himself. With this newfound confidence, Bennett will put on a clinic against the Tide. There is a sneaky suspicion that Bennett can do enough to win a championship with a proper game plan.
Bennett will throw for 300 yards for the third straight game, but this time he throws for four touchdowns to help the Dawgs win their first title in 41 years. This championship game is his moment to prove every doubter out there wrong and that he was, in fact, the guy that gave Georgia the best chance to win it all. His time is now.
